To generate additional visitors to family attractions in both Glasgow and Edinburgh during the promotional weekend and in the longer term. Key messages to communicate are that it is easy to get between the cities and that there is plenty for families to see and do in both cities.
We created a printed guide which described the promotion, and included tear-off vouchers and city maps with participating attractions plotted. Posters for display within the railway stations were also produced. A promotional website was then created to support the campaign, giving users the opportunity to find out more information and to download the brochure and vouchers.
The collateral materials achieved the objective of being colourful, engaging and effective. The illustrative style has appealed to both parents and children, making the required impact to ensure the success of the promotional weekend.
"Dunning Design understood our objectives quickly and responded with a concept that exactly met our requirements. The development process was smooth and our leaflets, posters and website were all turned around within a tight timeframe. The resulting collateral materials are colourful, engaging and effective - they will appeal to both parents and children and will help us to make an impact and ensure the promotional weekend is a success." - Elaine Dickie, Product Manager, Glasgow, VisitScotland
